We have been enjoying a few lovely spring-feeling days this week in East Cobb! And that has us itching to get out and enjoy the sunshine. So we thought we would share some local ideas for how to make the most out of the warmer weather. Here are five of our favorite local Spring Day adventures:

Smith-Gilbert Gardens

A short drive to Kennesaw reveals this hidden gem! Enjoy walks through the Noodle Forest or the Hobbit Habitat. Get lost in the Bonsai Exhibit or enjoy the daffodils and camellias of late winter and early spring! Check out their Facebook page for updates and events.

Stone Mountain

There is always so much to do at Stone Mountain in the Spring! Hiking, meandering, and the SkyRide! And as the temperatures warm up, there are lots of events. They are holding their annual Parking Pass sale right now, so if you hurry, you can save 25%.

Westside Reservoir Park

Check out Atlanta’s newest and largest park! It opened in August of 2021. They are done with Phase one, which features ADA accessible trails, pavilions, greenspaces, a beautiful playground and views of the Bellwood Quarry and a peek at the Atlanta skyline. This park also connects to the Atlanta Beltline and is close to some fantastic Atlanta restaurant favorites like Nuevo Laredo Cantina, West Egg, Antico Pizza or Slim + Husky’s

Atlanta Botanical Gardens

Enjoy the beauty of an unfolding spring at the indoor and outdoor exhibits at the Atlanta Botanical Gardens in Midtown Atlanta. Take a look at the events, special exhibits, classes and kids activity calendars for additional ideas for how to enjoy the gardens.

Callaway Gardens

For a spring-tastic weekend getaway, this is the place to enjoy. Make a weekend trip to Callaway Gardens for Azalea Season! Enjoy golf, a spa, dining, activities and 2,500 acres of gardens and trails.

Happy Spring and happy exploring, Snobs!
